Throughout the year we’ve given Apple Vacationers book recommendations from our Pages in Paradise library, but we’ve never shared how this collection of books came to life. Our Pages in Paradise program started as an idea to help readers and travelers alike get inspired for their next adventure. With the help of the teams at Penguin Random House and Belletrist Book Club, this idea turned into a partnership beyond our wildest dreams.
Belletrist Book Club
Back in 2017, best friends and avid readers Emma Roberts and Karah Preiss joined forces to create Belletrist, a haven for book enthusiasts. Flash forward, their reading community is one of the largest followed book clubs with a meticulously curated selection of over 75 books coupled with their always anticipated newsletter, The Belletrist Brief. Their passion for storytelling also led them to establish Belletrist Productions in 2019, which has brought popular TV series like First Kill on Netflix and Tell Me Lies on Hulu to life. They were the perfect duo to curate a book list that would entertain curious minds, whether that be on the beach or at home.

We are honored to have partnered with Penguin Random House, a globally renowned and trusted publisher, to provide the books for our first Pages in Paradise library at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana. Their passion for providing books to millions worldwide is similar to ours of helping travelers plan their dream vacation. Some would call it a match made in heaven!
