The Itinerary
Your experience starts with a 4-by-4 Jeep adventure through the island’s lush landscapes toward the ancient Mayan ruins of San Gervasio. This pristine archeological site dates to 100 B.C. and was once a main destination for Mayan pilgrimages to worship the Goddess of Fertility, Ixchel. Afterward, you will venture on toward Hacienda Antigua for some much-needed refreshments for the kids and a guided tequila tasting for the adults.
Your buffet lunch awaits on the white sand beaches of the island’s southernmost point, Punta Sur. The calm cove is ideal for swimming and snorkeling, as Cozumel is home to the world’s second-largest coral reef system! For adventurous spirits, a nearby lagoon is home to sunbathing crocodiles if you choose to get up close and personal with these candid locals.
