Business with Class
When you drive into OBC you know you’re in for a treat. The front bell hop lobby is open and ambiance brings you to an oceanic themed hotel. Each floor is designated a Hawaiian flower with information about that flower. The rooms bring such a calm feeling with a modern luxury look.

Great place
Great place to stay. Close to the beach, alongside all the shops, friendly staff, and nice rooms.Elgee checked us and gave is all the info plus anything we might have missed. The hotel resturants had great food and the shows were so fun. This hotel really made the trip relaxing and fun.

Hawaii vacation
The check in and out was smooth. Joshua was really friendly and professional. He gave us option of upgrading to a better room (for additional fee of course) which we agreed. We ended up on higher floor and had a good view of the Waikiki beach. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Thanks to everyone at the hotel.

A stay in Paradise
Outrigger staff was a breath of fresh air. In a world. Where customer service is dead. Lynn my housekeeper kep my room clean and stocked and the breakfast restaurant food was fresh for the 6 days straight. Again Thank you to the staff and my house keeper Lynn who is the MVP.

Disappointed overall
I was disappointed in the Beachcomber (and all the 5-star reviews) given the high TA rating. It is just an average hotel in my opinion. Yes, it is in Waikiki, and yes, it is a five-minute walk to the beach but there are many hotels that check those boxes. I was hoping for a stylish, vibrant hotel but the “lobby” is just a collection of chairs on the second-floor by reception. It is totally enclosed with no access to the outdoors other than the small pool. There are no window, no plants, no lobby bar - just a box office for the Cirque de Soleil and an activities office. A small cafe provides food and coffee to the pool area and there is a substantial line each morning. Our rooms were nice, comfortable and clean but I consider that to be a given for a $300+ night hotel. We did not have any real interactions with the staff in our week stay which I guess should be considered a good thing. This is by no means a bad hotel - had a lovely stay - but I am surprised to see it at the top of the TA rankings. I think for the money (plus the $40 resort fee!?) you could do better at one of the other hotels in the area.
