First time staying at a RIU hotel and it was fabulous! Resort is very clean! Food was excellent! So many choices! We loved not having to sign up for Ala cartes. Rooms are a little dated but super clean! Would definitely go back!!!

Great vacation with friends
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Riu Yucatan! The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. The food was good with variety of options and drinks were just as enjoyable. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and inviting.

RIU was the bst!
We spent 10 days at the RIU for the first time. Our room was immediately ready when we arrived and told us where we could still get something to eat since it was in the middle of the afternoon. We toured the grounds which were beautiful. The pools were busy but clean and warm. We are more beach people and the beach was just awesome! We found beach chairs daily. The beach sand was so white and clean with no seagrass at all. The water was so clear you could see the bottom. Water was completely sandy bottom no rocks whatsoever. We so enjoyed it except I wish they had waitress or waiters to get drinks for you. The drinks were great and the little hut that served food near the main pool was also delicious. There was always some sort of activity going on throughout the day. We ate at the main buffet most days. The food was very good and plentiful. If you could not find something that you liked there you must be very very picky because it was awesome. The wait staff went above and beyond for you. Very friendly workers wherever you went on the resort. Our room was on the small side but had everything we needed. The air conditioner could of been a tad cooler but was only there to sleep. The rooms were clean and the bath area too. Excellent maids each day cleaned and replenished items. We did lose electricity for about 18 hours no fault of the resort. I would definitely go back!

Dream Holiday
A dream holiday which met all expectations. All the staff were brilliant, too many to mention. Juan (Ibiza), Paola (breakfast), Filibert (barCancun) and Lizbeth (entertainment) were our favourites. See you all again next year...

Fabulous hotel and staff. Nothing too much trouble from friendly and attentive staff. I would heartily recommend this hotel.
