Mar 26, 2025Great food, plenty to do
Food was great and fresh and always available. Bed was a bit hard. Air conditioning didn't work until the last night of stay. Great place for lounging and drinking if your of age. Water park was small to only 5 slides one of which was not in use. No compensation was given for broken air conditioning despite multiple reports to management and maintenance.

Awesome resort !
This is our second year in a row, going to the Riu with a group of friends. The food/pool parties/staff/resort was amazing. The only complaint is do not take the shuttle back to the airport as they are very disorganized last year they put us on the wrong bus and we almost missed our flight !! This year the driver was 30 minutes late then he stopped at several resorts and waited for 15-20 min at each one !!! We got to the airport late AGAIN but thankfully customs wasn’t busy or we would’ve missed our flight. They’re way too disorganized Do yourself a favor and take an Uber and avoid the stress.

We had stayed at the RIU Palace (adults only) next door last year, so to stay at the Santa Fe was a bit different. It was also peak of spring break, so there were college students galore, screaming through the halls at all hours of the night. Our hotel room was fine, but there was no fan in the bathroom so I’m pretty sure there was mold on the ceiling. The staff were somewhat friendly (I think overwhelmed with the amount of ppl). However, we didn’t let anything ruin our time and still very much so enjoyed our vacation here.

My family and I just got back from the Riu Santa Fe, we all had an amazing time, the drinks the service and the food were all amazing!!! Zack and Karen are the ones we interacted the most and they were both soo amazing. I brought my 16 year old daughter who I wish could get into the Riu party because I know we both would have had a blast, I asked about it because she would have been with me with fulltime supervision, she just wanted to dance in the foam pool. You guys should either allow it or have one for underage to do it. The pool was a little cold and the day before we left you guys warmed it up a bit. I would definitely come back again!!! I read a lot of reviews of people saying not to come for spring break but the main pools were all so empty. Loved every minute of it!!! You guys just need a little more for teenagers

Amazing for college spring breakers!
Such a fun place to come for college spring breakers. I went with a big group of friends and we had the best time! While the food was sometimes lacking and not very flavorful, most of us weren’t bothered by it. The swim up bars and pools are a lot of fun and we really enjoyed the riu parties.
