My experience here was amazing. The beautiful views were refreshing and I’m so happy to have had the chance to experience this resort. But my time here would not have been the same without Victor Checo. He was very attentive and provided the most amazing service, very friendly and always open to any questions I had. This was life changing and I would not have done anything different. People like Victor Checo truly help make vacations like this worth it

Excellent vacation. I loved the food here! I loved the staff especially Henry & Ariel! They were always happy and had so much energy! They were the best and very friendly! The pool was beautiful and the beach was awesome!!! The bars were amazing!!

Nice rooms probably one of the best beds ever slept in for sure! Food is only around 2.5 star status, service around pool I can’t rate it as there is none, terrible loungers around pool . Beach is 2 stars , pools are nice but hard to screw that up. Nice grounds with beautiful lighting , service is 3 star. Over all this resort is far from 5 stars lol I woukd rate 3.5 star

LOVED Ocean Blue! Go visit, you’ll thank me later!
I must say that every time I visit this resort, I truly enjoy myself. I want to give Carlos Charles, Carlos Moreta and Antonio a HUGE shoutout for being GREAT! Their professionalism was beyond wonderful. I will return because of them. Loved!

10th trip
We arrived 1.11.24, on our arrival we were met by the bell boys who said to go to reception. Our gentleman behind the desk did remember us and asked how many times we had been. This was our 10th trip to the ocean blue and sands. A few things have changed since our last visit 2 years ago. The door key is now on your wrist bands which if you are like me and keep misplacing them it's great. Given villa 8, so as you walk down towards the beach is on the left hand side of the resort. Just to side of the 1st pool ( quiet pool) 3rd floor so we had a nice view of the hotel and we casks also see the sea when we looked over the balcony. The room was refurbished since our last trip, very clean and fresh. No bath in the bath room but that was OK for us as we shower anyway. The shower gel, shampoo etc is now in refillable bottles which is better. Also the body creams and liquid hand wash by the sinks in the bathroom. We had a huge bed which was reasonably comfortable with 3 pillows each, so plenty to choose from. Plenty of space for clothes in the wardrobe which also had a steamer in there if you needed it. A safe included in the wardrobe as well. A well stocked fridge with sodas, water and beer. Also a coffee maker in the room which we didn't use. Very happy with our room. (8304) Food We find that the breakfast is one of the best as we generally always go to the omelette station as they're freshly made to order. I also found the bagels good as you toast them yourself, plenty of choice with everything. We only used the villa marina at lunch time for a slice of pizza or a toasted sandwich. We used most of the restaurants in the evening, buffet was generally good loved the fresh cuts of roasted meats, fish etc. Nice fresh veg choice. Alway something to have if you didn't like the theme on that night. So slay bread cheese cold meat etc We used the steak house and the tuna, pichana steak and the ribs are out favourite there. The sensi was great food and very entertaining a must while you are there. The Mexican was also good, these are go to places for food in the evening. Mike's for great cup of coffee to finish the meal, a great combo The lobby for a drink before bed, the staff are great there. Thank you to Francisco, sexy black, noella, plus the others for the service in the evenings. We also used the piano lounge a lot as its air-conditioning was refreshing The OBS we have always found clean, they all work so hard to keep it that way. The pools, bars, restaurants, rooms, walkways and gardens all well maintained For the 1 st time this time we decided to up grade to privileged for the last 5 days of of holiday. Kept the same room but had the services. We loved the view at the beach for breakfast but thought the quality was not as good and as we spoke to people who also had the same opinion. We liked the private privilege lounge there as well. Great to have lunch there as well. Ambar and elvin also provided a great service for us. The area given to the privileged section by the pool was good with waiter service and they're own bar area. We didn't use the cabanas on the beach so can't comment there. The little bus that runs about the resort was helpful when it rains but can get very busy at times Thank you for another great holiday ocean blue and sands Hope to return soon
