    Amazing hospitality

Yulibel is an amazing worker and made the trip very fun! Hospitality was amazing and made me feel very welcomed in a place i was not familiar with! All staff was awesome but Yulibel went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome and cared for!

    Stay

Yulibel & chipi chippi & shaggy were the life of the party thanks to them the stay was a lot more pleasant I’m not sure if I would return due to the rooms but the personal made up for the other defects. The beds were hard and there were not enough sun beds it led to argument which we got upgraded.

    Time of my life

Great all inclusive resort! Great food great people and the entertainment was awesome. I would definitely recommend going if want great food and a great time! The privilege option is top tier loved it you have so many options for food and drinks. Only thing I dislike was the room service it takes really long and it’s not all that great! But every thing else is amazing!

    Not a 5 star hotel

Mixed review. The resort is not as advertised and the reviews here don’t really tell the whole story. We were partially upgraded to Privilege on arrival, something to do with our Expedia booking. However, the resort only has pool view or service road view rooms. There is no garden view or ocean view. You either face out to the pool or your balcony faces a service road. If you’re on the ground floor with that service road it feels incredibly unsafe. We were ground floor initially with two young girls so requested to move rooms. Went from ground floor building 10 to third floor. All seemed better until we came back from dinner and an access panel in the bathroom had fallen open, the whole room smelled horrible. We had to wait until the next day to be moved again. Finally moved to second floor building 6 which was better but in all instances facing a service road. Great view. Building 10 is what you see in photos, building 6 are different interior and smaller TVs. The beach isn’t big enough for the size of this resort. You have to fight for every ounce of shade. For someone who loves the sun but burns easily this isn’t a great plan. Up at 6am to try to get a spot regardless if you have cabanas or regular sunbeds. The pool is really great. Shallow walk in which gradually gets deeper is amazing with kids, and a tanning ledge. But once again lots of sun beds and not enough umbrellas. All of the umbrellas are also moored to the deck so you can’t do anything but try to angle them for shade. We opted to upgrade the privilege service. Pros - our concierge Derlin was amazing. Honestly made the experience so worthwhile. Helped with switching rooms, made sure we always had all the info we needed, booking reservations etc. Derlin was on top of it and was incredible. The cabana’s are great if you’re up at 6am to reserve one. Hot tip, make sure you go back to check in with the attendants around 8:30am so they know you’re coming back or you’ll lose it. Lunch on the beach vs having to go inside and being able to grab a cart up to the main buffet and theatre etc most of the time were added bonuses. Cons - still had to fight for cabanas, there’s not nearly enough of them and even then it’s a struggle. Other resorts will have service to your cabanas for drinks etc, not here. You need to search out everything. Late night menu and 24 hour room service consist of maybe 5 items and a menu you can’t find. For the amount of money you’re spending on privilege service there should be more offerings. Rooms really aren’t anything special in these two buildings other than being closest to the ocean. Reservations at a la cart restaurants when others have to walk up first come first serve is great but times are full quickly or not available at all. 6pm or 9pm dinner almost every night. The a la cart restaurants aren’t big enough either. The food is what you’d expect for an all inclusive. Nothing earth shattering but good all in all. Ice cream, bowling, some arcade offerings and entertainment are certainly added bonuses. Overall the resort is nice. For a 20 year old place, it’s well kept and the staff are all around very friendly but you’d do just as well to find somewhere that has better views and more room options for the price.
