Marriott Resort- especially Tradewinds Level- Paradise
We enjoy this Hotel. This was our 13th time staying here on the Tradewinds Level. We love having our large Ocean View room on the top floor. However, for about 7 of our 10 day stay, only one elevator was working. This was inconvenient. We arrive from the airport and immediately feel at home. The private Tradewinds check in is great!! Shout out to Margaret. We were offered a glass of Prosecco- nice touch. We unpacked and the fun began. The new app-Bonbini was somewhat problematic but we were able to get a Palapa daily in the Adult Only Tradewinds Beach Section. Danki to Enrique, Kisean & Silvia at this beach who took good care of us- brought us ice cold water bottles and some days ice cold wash clothes- greatly appreciated. We also enjoyed the free floats. The beach is gorgeous with clear and calm water. One day we decided to rent a Cabana at the Adult Pool- quite expensive but hey, we were on vacation- it came with a fruit platter, water bottles , juice & Prosecco.Food at the Tradewinds Lounge was tasty and there was a nice variety. We liked the soups at lunch. We typically eat dinner there 5 of our 10 nights. We like that the dinner meal is served to us as the others are Buffet. Plenty of ‘tagliere’ to choose from - meats, cheeses, salad. Olives etc. at lunch & dinner. One would have to be a very picky eater not to find something to their taste. Plus at dinner which is served tapas style, you can ask your Server for another portion. We especially enjoyed the coconut shrimp.Naila & Michael were wonderful Servers. Top Shelf alcohol & wines are there for us from 6-9 - also dessert if desired. We enjoy listening to and sometimes dancing to Amy Sorinio on Tuesday & Friday nights in the Lobby. Then of course a trip into the Casino . A delightful variety of slot machines which I like. Entertainment as well some nights- we like a good merengue. Housekeeping was on the ball. We called daily as we left the room to go to the beach. Boy this is long. But I guess when you enjoy a place it needs to be mentioned. Kudos to Verna Dijkoff who really takes good care of us. She is an asset to Marriott. So in conclusion, do not hesitate to stay here. We are already looking forward to our next trip here and staying in a Renovated Room.

Fun and Lively Resort
We had a great time at the Aruba Marriott Stellaris! Check-in was easy and we received a warm welcome from Jadeon, who was very competent and kind. Our room was great. It was very clean and had a great view over the pools to the ocean. The rooms can use an update, which we understand will happen soon. Breakfast was very good, The beach was beautiful, but there were no waves here. We were able to get a palapa every day on the app; we just set a reminder for the times that the reservations were available, 5pm the night before or 8 am the day of. No issues for us. The food and drink service at the beach was good. The vibe of the resort is fun and lively; it is not a quiet, peaceful place. Lots of activity in the lobby in the evenings. No issues getting a taxi to go for dinner. Overall, a great stay.

A Bad Experience
After staying there for previous years, this stay was the most disappointing. We had a guaranteed upgrade which they wouldn't honor. They room they gave me overlooked the roof of their casino with no view of the ocean. They failed to clean my room on two consecutive days. Their system to get a palapa at the beach was a disaster. You had to be on line at exactly 5:00 and if you were a second late, you might not get a palapa for the following day. No guarantees. Lastly, their casino was not fun as they made all their blackjacks table a $25 minimum. I played at the Holiday Inn casino where their minimums were $10 and $15. Unless things change for the better, I will not return there. Nobody will probably read this and nobody cares.

AWESOME resort. Perfect in every way! Great ocean view and best beach.
Honestly after seeing mixed reviews I was terrified of what I might find at the stellaris. I am happy to report that this hotel is FABULOUS! First off the room- we had was ocean view 2 queen on 6th floor looking at the family pool. The view was stunning. Room was clean and well-apportioned. The front desk workers were kind and helpful. I’m a high level bonvoy member and there was chilled proseco waiting and nightly chocolates. The stellaris has the BEST sandy wide open beach. Bonvoy elite members get free use of water toys for 1 hour per day per person. We found the family pool was crowded and noisy with loud music so we opted for the adult pool. The adult pool was lovely and quiet with carded access. The pool personnel were courteous and helpful and greeted us every day, remembering what we liked. The happy hour pool drinks were great. We tried several of the restaurants and they were great. There is a hotel cat who hangs out in the garden along with lots of iguanas, geckos, lizards, beautiful birds.

DO NOT STAY HERE – MARRIOTT STELLARIS ARUBA IS A HEALTH HAZARD
My recent stay at Marriott Stellaris Aruba (April 16-22, 2025) was an absolute disgrace. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned into a dangerous health nightmare due to black mold contamination in our room’s ventilation system. This wasn’t just a minor issue—our entire room was compromised, exposing my family to toxic conditions and damaging our belongings. I have photos and videos proving this blatant health violation. But what’s even more appalling? Marriott’s complete and utter failure to take responsibility. Instead of immediately addressing this severe safety hazard, management was dismissive, rude, and shockingly negligent. They showed zero concern for the well-being of their guests—even after being informed that my wife has an autoimmune disease, making her extremely vulnerable to mold exposure. And here’s the worst part: Rather than shutting down the contaminated room, they allowed new guests to stay there, fully aware of the danger. This is not just incompetence—it is reckless endangerment. To add insult to injury, Marriott had the audacity to offer a pitiful 15% refund in points and a reimbursement of taxes and fees, claiming that this was fair compensation. Let me be clear: exposing guests to a serious health hazard and then brushing it off with a fraction of what was paid is beyond insulting. This was not a minor inconvenience—it was a major health risk, and their response only underscores their blatant disregard for guest safety. Marriott Stellaris Aruba has demonstrated a complete lack of ethics, responsibility, and basic human decency. If this is how they handle life-threatening health hazards, I can’t even begin to imagine how they treat everyday guest concerns. DO NOT risk your health by staying at this hotel. Marriott, your failure here is inexcusable. Shame on you.
