In general would recommend!
In general we really liked this place and would recommend it! Staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, and the balcony with partial ocean view was incredible! The location was perfect as it was within walking distance of tons of shopping, restaurants and the beach. There were pool tables, ping pong tables, corn hole games, and plenty of open spaces for families to play various other games. There were also tons of channels on the TV. There were only 3 negatives that I could see. First, it is very noisy with all the street noise and music. Second, the internet is very spotty. I was in a work zoom meeting & couldn't complete it because of the internet. Third, the walls are pretty thin. We heard every cough, sneeze, and morning alarm clock of our neighbors. We had a great time and in general would recommend it.

Great hotel/not great elevator
This hotel is perfect in relation to Waikiki beach. Walking distance is so close to the beach, stores, restaurants and the international market, the hotel is incredibly clean, the staff is amazing always polite and friendly at every point of service. Everything about this hotel is perfect. Except the elevators in the tower. Steer away from staying on that side. The elevators take forever to either go up or down because they aren’t working and apparently been being “worked on” for months and because of this everyone will climb into the same one to get to the level they are going to and it can be quite claustrophobic (I’m not exaggerating). We probably lost half a day waiting for it to come either up stairs or down in the week we were there. Otherwise, amazing hotel and people

We Will Not Be Back
We had high hope for the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. The new renovated rooms that we saw on Marriott.com really caught our attention, and so 6 months prior to arrival, we booked a high floor, ocean view king room in the Ainahau tower. We arrived and were assigned a room on the 22nd floor (out of 29 floors). Ok, maybe this is a higher floor. We were both so excited to see the views that we saw on line, but instead our room looked out over a building that is under construction and the Hyatt across the street. Could we see the ocean, sure, but this was not a full ocean view. Front desk said they were sorry.... During our stay the elevators in the Ainahau tower were hit and miss (mostly miss). Some days they even had signs up inviting guests to use the service elevators. Not something you would expect from a Sheraton. The room renovations looked nice at first, but when you looked very closely, a lot of items had been missed. Do not expect good wifi in the room. The front desk agent told us that they have complaints all the time. Day 8 of our 12 night stay, we were kept up all night by the door lock making a "beeping" sound every 15 seconds. We spoke to the desk, who offered us a free drink and took our resort fee off for 2 nights. That afternoon all the door locks on our floor started "beeping". The front desk offered us to move rooms but since we had been in the room for 8 nights, we did not want to pack up and move. So they offered us a $100 dinner credit. At checkout, I mentioned that this might have been the worst hotel stay I have had in a long time (I stay in hotels about 90 nights a year), and we would most likely not come back. That was met with total indifference. One tip - you can rent beach chairs from the pool.

Awesome Experience
Great hotel, amazing friendly staff and very helpful with hints finding the Christmas elf for my 5 year old. In the heart of the all the Waikiki action and across the street from the beach. Splash Bar has some great classic tiki drinks and creative handcrafted cocktails with a view of the pool. 👍🏼

Holiday weekend trip
My friends and I did a 2-night holiday weekend trip to O'ahu and stayed at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. All of the associates we met shared their aloha and were so nice. We enjoyed snacks and drinks in the Splash Bar listening to wonderful live holiday music. The room was spacious and beds were so comfortable. Loved staying here and will definitely stay here again.
